1,000+ gals in red bikinis came together at the Melrose Arch Piazza in Johannesburg, South Africa to break the Guinness World Record and raise awareness about breast cancer.
The super sexy red bikini parade was held on Nov. 7, 2009 with hundreds of girls strolling cheerfully along the Boulevard to break the world record and make the onlookers happy.
The event was organized by Kellogg in support of the Pink Link foundation, a non-profit breast cancer awareness group.
We were delighted to see tall, short, boyish, curvy, pear and apple-shaped women all have the confidence to do things “their way”, and participate in the parade,” Kellogg’s Special KR’s Sarah Mansfield said. “Spirits were high as not only were these women celebrating their femininity, [but] were making a difference by creating awareness for breast cancer in South Africa.”
According to the Mansfield, five lucky women from the crowd were chosen to appear in a Special K® TV commercial.
Your thoughts about the new Guinness World Record, guys?
